About me

Gianfranco Forza was born in Trieste in 1966 after a career nell'elettronica and development of microprocessors approaches to photography in the early 90s. He remains fascinated by this incredible tool creative and decided to deepen the study of this noble art. He graduated in 97 with honors all 'Institute of Photography and Visual Arts in Padova where he created his first professional collaboration. Detailed studies of large format photography in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) at the prestigious training center of Sinar AG. which specializes in advertising photography Still Life and Architecture. Initially is the reportage his first professional contact. Make several exhibitions with various works. Collaborate with several local and national magazines also collaborates with other professionals of photography and furniture design. In the 98 creates his first photographic studio in Preganziol at the wonderful creative frame of Filanda Motta, after one year together with 2 other photographers based in Ponzano Veneto Xenon photografic studio where he will deal mainly photography furniture and still-life.

He start a job of research on Trieste at 360 degrees (using a Panoramic camera Roundshot 70). In the 2001 opened a studio in Trieste and began at that time his passion for photography of sailboats. Following several prestigious races in Italy, France, Spain and Croatia. In particular prefers racing on the high seas and the Classic Yacht. In 2007, following the 32nd America's Cup in Valencia, the Maxi Rolex Cup, the Rolex Veteran Boat Rally, in 2008, the Maxi Rolex Cup, the Rolex Swan Cup and Sail vintage of Imperia. He lives and works in Trieste with his wife and her son.
